1. Fisher-Price Rock n' Play Newborn Sleeper. This came in so handy for the first 3 months. I wanted baby to be as close as possible when we were sleeping, but I was too scared to bed share with a newborn. I also put him in the bathroom with me when I needed to shower!
2. Nosefrida Snotsucker Nasal Aspirator. This thing is AMAZING! Those hospital nasal aspirators are a joke compared to this. It takes like 10 squeezes just to get a little bit out of those tiny noses. But with this nosefrida it literally takes 30 seconds and his nose is completely clear.
3. Cloth Diapers. I cannot say enough how much I love our cloth diapers! Our son has never had a rash and I believe its because we use cloth diapers and cloth wipes. One size diapers are great but they were a little big for the newborn stage. I would suggest buying or renting a newborn stash. We use different brands for different reasons, Bumgenius pockets stuffed with 2 or 3 inserts for overnight, Softbums with Aplix for daddy/grandma diapers and WAHM Hybrid Fitteds for everyday use (which I buy from Hyena Cart). Not only is cloth eco friendly but you can use them through 2 or 3 children and resell them and make some of your money back. There are many places to buy cloth diapers; Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, Hyena Cart, Cottonbabies.com and many more places you can find just by googling. There are even facebook groups that you can buy used ones from if you cannot afford to buy new. Now I know cloth is not for everyone, which if completely fine, this is just my list of the things I loved for baby.
4. Trader Joes Coconut Oil. This stuff is great for just about anything you can think of. It can be used for diaper cream, nipple cream, face moisturizer, hair care and have a ton of health benefits as well. I get mine from Trader Joes for $5.99, you can find it by the olive oil.
5. Boppy Pilow. I still use the boppy pillow for my almost 2 year old. It is great for nursing, letting baby lounge and for tummy time.
So that is my list of my favorite baby items that I used to our son and that I want to use again with #2.
